“CivilG8” prepares the suggestion on the education of the disabled


How can we make educational establishments accessible for the disabled children, what measures should be taken, so that they could get their education in the common public schools. Today the civil society experts were discussing these questions.

NGO from Europe and the USA prepare their suggestions to the coming G8 Summit, taking place this year in Russia, St Petersburg. Today’s meeting was devoted to the so-called inclusive education. This term is used by the specialist when discussing the education of the disabled children in the common schools and Universities.

Sergey Prushinsky, Moscwo State University student: “I never had a though to studt\y in some specially created University, with special conditions, for the specially created people. If one wants to live, work, have friends – one has to study in a common University, among common people, and lead a normal life. It is not hard”.
