For the first time within the period of the Russia’s presidency in G8 the International Forum of NGOs will be held in Moscow.

The Forum will take place 9-10th of March in Moscow at the following address: Krasnopresnenskaya nab., 12, entrance 4.

The Forum will be attended by more than 300 representatives of one hundred NGOs coming from 35 countries as well as 200 representatives of national and regional Russian NGOs.
Within the framework of the Forum a meeting of NGOs with Sherpas will also take place.

The Forum is aimed at working out the NGOs recommendations on the priorities of the Russian presidency in G8 and laying the foundation of a direct dialogue of civil society institutions with G8 representatives.

The main working form of the Forum will be Round table discussions on the following issues:
- Energy Security
- Education
- Fighting Infectious Diseases
- Business / World Trade / Financing the Development / Intellectual Property
- Fighting the Terrorism / Non-proliferation / Regional Conflicts Settlement
- Other issues proposed by NGOs

Working languages of the Forum – Russian, English.
