Regular Working Meeting of G8 Sherps in Moscow

MOSCOW, March 9. Moscow plays host to a regular working meeting of G8 sherps, RIA Novosti was told by the Organizing Committee of the Russian G8 Presidency.

During the talks, which will last until March 10, the sherps will discuss different questions linked with the preparations for the G8 summit in St. Petersburg next July, including the main agenda topics of the Russian G8 Presidency, and other urgent international issues, said the Organizing Committee.

In addition, during their session in Moscow the sherps are planning to meet representatives of Russian and international NGOs, who gathered in Moscow to take part in the Civil G8 Forum-2006, said the Organizing Committee.
