Ivanov: Russia to prepare non-proliferation report by G8 summit

MOSCOW, April 10 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow will prepare an open report on non-proliferation issues by the Group of Eight summit, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov told President Vladimir Putin at a government meeting on Monday.

“The national control list of foreign organisations is needed within the framework of preparation for the G8 summit; it will help compiling an open report on non-proliferation issues, in which we shall tell of our system of export control, of what has been done in this field.

We shall give an assessment of the activity of a number of foreign organisations and countries to counteract this serious threat,” Ivanov said.
