According to the Russian President Adviser, Russian Sherpa Igor Shuvalov, participating in Russian economic Forum, All G8 States help Russia to Prepare the G8 Summit in St Petersburg.
“Russia gets a very effective assistance coming from all G8 states, especially from Great Britain and the United States” - he said. Russian Sherpa highly appreciated the British help in organization of the discussion on civil society problems.
”They ask us very complicated questions and I like this style of work, - admitted Igor Shuvalov. – If you ask the Chatham House experts, they will say that we prepare the 2006 G8 summit better than it was in Great Britain last year. I must admit that the work is being done very effectively – we discuss problems of the global energy security and ecology, that we have to answer.
