01.01.70
According to the US President Adviser for the armament control and international security Robert Josef, the US President administration supposes the energy issues will be among key problems that are to be discussed in St Petersburg during the G8 summit, that Russia will preside for the first time. The Bush administration believes the most important part of the discussion is the nuclear energy issue.
"Russia is presiding the G8 summit this year and intends to propose energy issues to the agenda, - he said. - As we suppose, that the nuclear energy will be a key issues to be discussed. I'm sure Russia is holding to the same opinion. And Russia has to lead international efforts in this sphere".
