The Russian President says Russia as the country presiding G8 will implement the policy aimed at facilitation of the poorest countries' debt loads.
01.01.70
The Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia as the country presiding G8 will implement the policy aimed at solving most important international problems marked by the previous G8 summit in the Great Britain, particularly the debt forgiveness for the poorest countries of the world.
"I'm ready to declare that within the G8 summit in St Petersburg we will follow the principle of succession of the issues our colleagues consider as priorities", - the Russian Preaident added.
Vladimir Putin also stressed the importance of such G8 priority as the stability on the world energy markets. He stressed these issues have been already discussed during the G8 Finance Ministers meeting in Moscow.
