RF Government creates an office for bird flu control

President Vladimir Putin considers it reasonable to from a special office to work on the bird flu problems. "I think it would be wise to establish a special structure, an office on this problem, - he said. - You already know about the difficult situation in the neighbor countries. In Western Europe there are more and more cases of the migrating birds' flu. There is little time left. The flu experts believe that the situation would be getting worse".

After hearing Prime Minister Fradkov's opinion, President got back to the financial questions. "We have to carry out a big work and react on time, - Putin explained, - I mean our work in agriculture, farming, especially poultry breeding. Besides, the Ministry of Health should on time finance the vaccination".
