The G8 Leaders Took into Account the Recommendations on Disabled People Education


The final document included the majority of the recommendations elaborated by the NGOs during the Civil G8 Forums in March, 9-10 and July, 3-4.
The leader of the social organizations of invalids of Arkhangelsk Nikolai Miakshin told the Informational Agency “Dvina-Inform” that the G8 Group said in its final document about their
willingness to provide accessible and quality education and professional training for all people regardless of the religion, nationality, gender, age and limited physical possibilities. The summit participants consider education as a vitally necessary investment in the development of human resources and sustainable economic development.
The basic knowledge of reading and mathematics is as important as the content of the programs of preparing pupils and students and the quality of the knowledge.

The declaration also states the support of the elements of education system which contribute to the development of critical thinking and also the open opinion exchange put into the basis of the democratic societies and the developed economic systems accessible for all. To gain this strategic aim the world community considers necessary to provide the general primary education and gender equality in all educational levels. It is necessary to reinforce the efforts to gain the aim by 2015.
