April, 3. The Youth G8: Forming Global Responsibility
The “Youth G8” Forum is organized by the St Petersburg State University, State Complex “Palace of Congress”, with the support of Russian President Administration, Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Council of Federation, St Petersburg Government and Legislative Assembly, Council of St Petersburg rectors, St Petersburg Center for International Relations.
The Forum mission is to form the global responsibility and stimulation of an active position of the youth, to create conditions for non-standard solutions of existing problems, to use the G8 summit process to express the youth’ opinions on the wide spectrum of problems.
The participants of the Forum are the teams of leading universities of G8 countries.
The Forum is supposed to discuss the world development, global conception of the world community development, positive and negative aspects of the democratization of the Orient and its influencing regional conflicts, energy security, economic aid to Africa etc.
The general consuls of GB, Germany, Italy, Canada, US, France and Japan are invited for the Forum commencement meeting.
