Within the frameworks of the project the participating organizations will be able to develop some mutual recommendations to be submitted for consideration to the G8 leaders.
Organizers of the project intend to set contacts with all of the organizations and departments responsible for the Summit preparation. According to Pamfilova, Russian Sherp himself, Igor Shuvalov, is ready to meet with them, under the condition that the organizers will be ready to present the list of their recommendations on three major topics – energy security, education and health - in March.
Pamfilova sees the activity of the “Civil G8” as an opportunity to open ways of cooperation between foreign and Russian NGOs, as the latter do not have a large experience in the international relationships.
