Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in the “Civil G8” project, devoted to preparing for the G8 summit to be held in St. Petersburg in July 2006.

The aim of the project is to provide civil society organisations with more information about co-operation within the scope of G8, to involve a broad range of NGOs in discussing issues associated with the subjects covered by the G8, and to develop a dialogue between civil society and decision-makers both in Russia and in the other G8 countries.

You could participate in the project in the following ways:

  • make proposals on pressing issues considered by the G8;
  • take part in electronic discussions;
  • participate in events and forums to be held within the “Civil G8” framework.
